2018 Science Expeditions
The British Indian Ocean Territory Administration permitted nine science expedition in 2018, making it one of our busiest years to date. The expeditions covered a wide range of subjects: from coral reef growth to turtles and from seabirds to forests.
We would like to thank the Bertarelli Foundations, ZSL and all the scientists taking part in the Marine Science Programme. We would also like to especially welcome the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew for their first expedtion to BIOT and look forward to continued successful collaboration in the future.
